Special Procedures Lab Services

Who We Are

The Special Procedures Lab at Venice Regional Medical Center is staffed by Interventional Radiologists who provide lifesaving treatments to patients who are not good candidates for surgery.

Interventional Radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments for many conditions that once required surgery.  These specialists have diagnostic and clinical expereince in various areas of treatment.

What We Do

At the Venice Regional Medical Center's Special Procedures Lab, our Interventional Radiologists treat arterial blockages, help to repair aneurysms, and relieve pain from vertebral compression fractures.  In addition, renal cell carcinoma, liver cancer, and lung tumors are among the maladies we treat with crybolation, which is delivered with catheters directly to the targeted issue.
