Job Description
Job Responsibilities: RN is responsible for coordinating and overseeing care delivered with an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the nursing process which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: R.N. Graduate of a School of Nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida. BLS, ACLS required. Other certificates as required by area of clinical specialty.
Experience: Previous experience preferred as a staff nurse in acute care clinical setting. Previous orthopedic experience preferred, telemetry experience preferred but will train. Able to work under stressful conditions. Good oral and written skills.
Skills: Must be able to communicate to patients, hospital staff and visitors in a concerned and caring way, demonstrating the Standards of Excellence. Able to maintain confidentiality of information. Willingness to accept responsibility. Ability to direct ancillary staff and organize work assignments. Leadership skills essential to the position.
